Under the federal No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of your healthcare services, including psychotherapy.
If you do not have health insurance, or you choose not to use your insurance to pay for therapy, your healthcare provider is required to provide an estimate of the anticipated charges for your care.
A Good Faith Estimate can help you understand the expected cost of services before beginning or continuing treatment. You may also request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services.
Because the length and frequency of psychotherapy can vary depending on your needs and goals, the total cost of treatment may change over time. Your estimate can be updated when there are significant changes to your treatment plan or anticipated services.
If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above your Good Faith Estimate, you may have the right to dispute the charges through the federal patient-provider dispute resolution process.
Please keep a copy of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.
For additional information about your rights under the No Surprises Act, visit CMS.gov/NoSurprises.

At this time, I do not accept insurance. I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Because every plan is different, I encourage you to check directly with your insurance provider about your out-of-network mental health benefits.
Limited sliding-scale spaces are available, with priority given to historically marginalized communities.
My standard individual fee is $185 per session.
My standard couples fee is $205 per session.
Payment is expected at the time of service. To continue scheduling sessions, accounts must remain current and may not carry a balance greater than the cost of one session. If a balance becomes overdue, we will discuss payment arrangements before additional sessions are scheduled.
